Brian Peltonen is a sector specialist on the energy team at Fidelity Investments. His work has spanned artificial intelligence, artificial life, graphic visualization, agent based modeling, and the development of genetic algorithms to solve real world problems across a variety of industries. Currently, his work focuses on understanding drivers in global energy markets and their relation to equities. AbstractAgent Based Modeling is probably the most effective tool today in helping decision makers validate their assumptions, explore possible outcomes of their decisions, and better understand the behavior of their customers, employees, and competitors.
