3rd International Business Complexity and Global Leader Conference
Rethinking Policy and Practice in Today's Financial System
April 29, 30, May 1, 2013 Boston, MA
Suffolk University, Sargent Hall, 120 Tremont Street, Boston
The increasing complexity and volatility of our financial systems reflect unprecedented change in our financial system. Policy makers and practitioners are faced with making short- and long-term decisions in the face of an uncertain future. While we continue to rely on traditional reductionist methodologies and historical data to gain actionable insights into this complexity new technologies and methodologies are evolving in to support more informed decision making for policy makers and practitioners.
The Center for Business Complexity and Global Leadership’s 3rd annual conference endeavors to bring together thought leaders from around the globe in policy and practice from multiple fields to share their insights on understanding our financial system and share new technologies to support effective decision making for a healthy economic future. Moreover, by bringing scholars and practitioners from diverse fields the conference aims to support new and productive dialogue about our changing financial system across disciplines to advance research, theory, policy, and practice to more effectively evaluate risk and opportunity for economic health at the micro and macro level of our complex economy.

I cannot thank you and your team enough.
I've been to more conferences than I can remember in my 28 yr. career. But I can count with less than one hand those that gave me such an
intellectual satisfaction and shock as this one, and I am not a new comer to the Complexity field either.
I really look forward to the next one. This is such an important, emerging field. There are so many subjects across a vast array of
seemingly unrelated fields that can be united by basic principles in Complexity.
Thank you again.
